"Inspiring Leadership, Celebrating Unity"

12th Installation Ceremony celebrated the official appointment of the new executive committee and board of directors for the Rotaract Club of General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University (RACKDU) for 2024/25. The event, themed "Sri Lankan Pride: Inspiring Beyond Boundaries", highlighted the club's commitment to national pride and global impact. Following the formal ceremony, a dinner and fellowship session allowed dignitaries to connect, share experiences, and strengthen bonds within the Rotaract community. This event set the stage for another year of service, leadership, and community impact.

Safety First

"Empowering Safety, Ensuring Well-being"

In preparation for the Rotaract Champions League, our club focuses on ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants. We conducted professional first aid and CPR training to equip our members with the necessary skills to handle injuries and emergencies during the competition. This initiative empowers our team to provide prompt and informed responses, promoting a safe and supportive environment for all athletes. By prioritizing safety, we ensure that the event is both enjoyable and secure for everyone involved.

CSSL Project

"Building Bridges, Empowering Minds"

The CSSL Project is a community-driven initiative designed to promote inclusivity in public libraries by creating an accessible model for children with disabilities. Focused on ensuring equity and equality, the project adapts library resources to cater to the unique needs of these children, allowing them to fully participate in educational and recreational activities. By enhancing accessibility, the project fosters an inclusive learning environment and empowers children with disabilities to access lifelong learning opportunities, contributing to their personal development and community integration.

Beach Clean Up

" Clean Shores, Brighter Future"

On September 28th, the Rotaract Club of General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University, in collaboration with other Rotaract and Interact Clubs, held a successful beach cleanup at Mount Lavinia Beach. This initiative brought together passionate volunteers to restore the environment, emphasizing the importance of coastal conservation and sustainability. Through collective effort, the event not only cleaned the beach but also raised awareness about the impact of pollution on marine life and ecosystems. The cleanup served as a reminder of the vital role everyone plays in protecting our natural resources.
